Raised in Columbus, Ohio, DBM traveled all around the world and wound up in sunny Chicago, Illinois. Originally trained in filmmaking, DBM enjoys movies, writing, and above all photography.

From photographing loon chicks in rural Maine to the Dall sheep of Denali National Park, DBM loves to encounter new animals, immerse himself in diverse landscapes, and eat ice cream.
